Love to know what fellow PLATINUM Alumni are working on now-a-days.

LinkedIn has a new Discussions feature for groups. I’ve posted the link below:

    Robert Walker, Independent Consultant:
Previously worked on mainframe and distributed applications written in Aion (a mighty fine ex-Platinum product) as well as COBOL and DB2.

    Currently looking for more opportunities.

Richard Cook, Translator, Spanish National Statistics Institute.

Worked for a number of years in IT, in web development and electronic publishing. I created electronic bilingual and monolingual dictionary solutions for publishers such as OUP, PONS and Espasa Calpe. Worked with DB, XML, XSLT, CMS, scripting etc. I owe a debt of gratitude to Boris Stojnic who first got me involved in XML and web development while at Platinum.

Looking to move back into electronic publishing or a related area.

Signe Garnitz (Formerly Signe Peterson) – was Director of Work/Life Initiatives at Platinum BRIEFLY right before we were sold to Computer Associates. Worked under Mark Ugol. Left before the sale.

Currently working as HR Director at 22squared, Inc., a full service consumer advertising agency in Atlanta. Just recently joined them, after 7 years as Sr. HR Manager at Cousins Properties Incorporated, a major commercial real estate developer here in Atlanta.

Would love to hear from some of you other HR/Recruiting Platinum alums, esp!
